The background of this report is a rite in which we made contact with the underworld and it’s ruler – Hades. Also involved were Hypnos (sleep) and Morpheus (dream).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n First I sank one floor down; no, first I visualised my present location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Then, one floor down, then the basement, then undeground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After that, a boat, in a dark tunnel, a river underground, and descending down deeper, deeper, the driver (Charon?) behind me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This continued for a while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Eventually: a landing, large cavernous space with a bit of light, many stalagmites\/tites, some ghostly figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I ignore them, and I walk, through cavern, through tunnels\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n eventually coming to the Abyss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It’s totally black here. There’s no floor, no gravity, no up or down. Just empty darkness in all directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, after a little while a central point crystallises as a perfect black sphere, somehow blacker than the surrounding void: Void Centre\/Void Concentrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Whatever. Extreme Core Nuclear Void.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You try to grab, you gravitate towards this centre and want to cling onto it, but it evades your grasp. And again, and again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And, yet, at some point it deforms: peaks, pinches, zips open at an edge!<\/p>\n\n\n\n And so, into this invitingly rich, dense black abyss, you climb inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It’s so comfortable in here! So cosy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Now your body is inside mine, you wear me as a suit, a skin-tight extra skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A thin layer of black hole stretched around you; perfect protection. Perfect isolation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You are consumed, and I am your mask.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But who is inside?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Are you the puppet master?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Or have I consumed you and assumed control?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Who am I?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
